About City Council
The City of Vernonia’s governing body is composed of the mayor and four council members voted on by the citizens of Vernonia.
The mayor is elected for a two-year term, and council members are elected for four-year terms.
The mayor and council members do not receive financial reimbursement for their service.
Council Meetings
Council meetings are held at 6:30pm on the first and third Monday of the month at Vernonia City Hall.
