NOTICE: Flood Watch in Effect

* WHAT: Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is possible.
* WHERE: Northwest Oregon and southwest Washington.
* WHEN: From Thursday, January 6, 2022 through Friday, January 7, 2022.
* IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
areas.
Landslides and debris flows are possible. Stay vigilant and be prepared.
